Our Story

We came into existence because beauty, in its purest form, needed a gentler voice.

We grew by listening. Listening, to the stories of the people who trusted us. Stories of skin that had been through too much... skin tired of harsh formulas, endless promises, and care that felt anything but caring.

In every conversation with you, we heard the same quiet wish: to be seen, to be understood, to be nurtured.

And so, we began not to impose beauty, but to uncover it. To restore the calm, the balance, and the quiet confidence that lives in healthy skin. To remind you that beauty is not created in a bottle, it's revealed when your skin feels healthy, calm, and alive.

Our Formulation Philosophy

Every dewdreamy product is imagined, developed, and produced in-house by our dedicated team of cosmetic chemists.

From selecting the ingredients to testing each product for safety, texture, and efficacy, every stage of formulation is handled with precision and care.

Our production takes place entirely in our own Tanzanian lab, allowing us to maintain full control over quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. This ensures that each product meets the highest international standards while retaining the heart and authenticity of a locally crafted creation.

Every batch is a result of rigorous testing, attention to detail, and a deep respect for both the science of skincare and the needs of real skin. We don't outsource key processes, because your skin deserves nothing less than the full expertise and dedication of our in-house team.

Our Principles: What We Avoid & Why

We firmly believe that what isn't in our products matters just as much as what is. That's why we never formulate with:

Parabens, sulfates, phthalates + ingredients that can irritate, accumulate, or compromise both skin and environment.

Ingredients not yet proven safe in the long term. Our formulations prioritize gentle, effective alternatives that honor your skin's integrity.

Our commitment is rooted in science and aligned with the most stringent global regulations.

Our Standards: Guided by EU Cosmetic Regulations

We adhere to the strict safety parameters set by the European Cosmetic Regulation (EC No 1223/2009), which remains one of the most rigorous frameworks globally. As of early 2025, the EU strictly prohibits over 1,700 substances from cosmetic use, alongside carefully restricting additional ingredients under specific conditions such as concentration and product type. We ensure every ingredient we use would be compliant under the EU's standards.

Our Rebrand: A New Chapter (2025)

This year marks a significant milestone for dewdreamy. We welcomed an international cosmetic chemist to our team, bringing new expertise, insight, and perspective to our formulations.

As part of our 2025 rebrand, we discontinued all previous products to focus on creating a refined, carefully curated collection that embodies our philosophy: gentle, effective, and skin-first.

Our first launch under this new chapter features face and body oils. Each formulation developed in-house with high-quality ingredients to nurture, restore, and protect the skin.

Every product reflects our dedication to creating skincare that is safe, effective, and distinctly dewdreamy.

We're reintroducing our collection with improved formulations, minimalist design, and textures that feel luxurious yet kind to the skin.
