What We Make & How

We create thoughtfully formulated personal care, all designed to support the skin’s natural balance.

Every formula is carefully developed in-house by our expert team of two cosmetic chemists. From selecting the ingredients to testing each product for safety, texture, and efficacy, every stage of formulation is handled with precision and care.

Our production takes place entirely in our own Tanzanian lab, allowing us to maintain full control over quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. This ensures that each product meets the highest international standards while retaining the heart and authenticity of a locally crafted creation.

Every batch is a result of rigorous testing, attention to detail, and a deep respect for both the science of skincare and the needs of real skin. We don’t outsource key processes, because your skin deserves nothing less than the full expertise and dedication of our in-house team.

Our Principles: What We Avoid & Why

We firmly believe that what isn't in our products matters just as much as what is. That's why we never formulate with:

• Parabens, sulfates, phthalates + ingredients that can irritate, accumulate, or compromise both skin and environment.
• Ingredients not yet proven safe in the long term. Our formulations prioritize gentle, effective alternatives that honor your skin’s integrity.

Our Standards: Guided by EU Cosmetic Regulations

We adhere to the strict safety parameters set by the European Cosmetic Regulation (EC No 1223/2009), which remains one of the most rigorous frameworks globally. As of early 2025, the EU strictly prohibits over 1,700 substances from cosmetic use, alongside carefully restricting additional ingredients under specific conditions such as concentration and product type (Cosmedesk+1.) We ensure every ingredient we use would be compliant under the EU’s standards.
